Bought a snow plow

No angle. Honestly for my Driveway, I don't need it.

I just finished replacing the drive axle in my b-II that is doing snow plow duties. Not too bad for being 30 years old. It's only done three years of plowing tho.

NO Angle ???? yours DOES have the semi-circle for angle (you's is the exact same as mine)

Confused....

Well, it's that time of the year again. Time to hook up the plow.

This year I decided to throw my Boggers on the rear instead of M/t's, and I got some air bags for the front coils. Should have them installed in the next day or two.

So, I kind of screwed up, but it all worked out.

I forgot that my coils were 6-inches longer than stock when I bought the airbag kit.

The kit comes with a plastic (or hard rubber, I don't remember..) piece that goes over the stud that holds the coil spring. The air bag goes on that, and then a cap goes above the bag with a groove that the coil spring tabs should fit in to.

Since my springs were 6-inches to long, I used (2) 3-inch lift blocks as a spacer, and replaced the bottom piece that came with the kit with radius arm bushings (see the photo). Even though the blocks can't pop out of the springs, I used black Gorilla tape to hold them together and keep it all in a neat line.

I don't plan on driving this on the road, I'll just be plowing my driveway with it. I also put my Boggers on the rear to get more bite in the snow.

If you're wondering why the mini lightbar is sideways, it's just there for backing across the highway when plowing my driveway. The traffic I need to warn is approaching from the side, not the rear.

hmmm...i used the e350 bags and sch 80 pvc caps when running the softer springs for ride control.

they are much longer bags, but that solution looks like it will work perfectly and saved money and time for a trip to get some pvc.:icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

glad you kept the truck.

I've got the same plow and paid the same amount but mine is in much worse shape lol. How do the boggers and MTs do while plowing? I plan to get some dedicated snow tires.
