Body Lift vs Suspension Lift?

i was really impressed w/ the bfg's i had, no doubt probably your best AT tire.

firestone destination at's... i really liked mine for the DD side of it and they were not bad offroad but the bfgs are better offroad.

now i have 285/75/16's in hankook dynapro at's.. i've not really had these offroad that much. only time i did, i didn't even need 4x4 so... yeah. after april 21st i'll know what they do, i'm going to superlift orv in the b2 to do some slight rock crawling.

are you looking for mud, trail, or rock for that 10%?
its gonna be hard to beat bfg's tho.

might want to look at these, if you're open to retreads, i know some people using them and love them... never had any problems.

$113 a tire, bfg pattern... that's for 16" rims tho.

or if you want more of a mud tire (since they are so cheap...)

$124 a tire, the old MTR pattern.

look at all the reviews on treadwrights, you'll be impressed.
if i didn't get the deal i did on these dynapros, i'd be rocking the guard dogs

I have a 2" body lift and Ranger blocks in the rear with a 2" lift in the front.I went on later to put in longer radius arms. Then 4" lift springs and shocks with raised spring buckets.A 4" suspension lift is the best looking and off road.I never had drive line problems or drivability problems. It's also economical.

I'd love to get some bfgs at's my occasional offroading would be some miss holes on the hunting club no rock climbing or any extreme flexing

honestly, for a mainly DD/ slight off road like you're talking about. firestone at's would be alright. i liked mine.

but there is NOTHING bad to say about bfg at's, except in real mud where you need MT's. i know they ain't cheap but... they are worth it.
