Body Lift Under 3"?

Anyone do a body lift under 3"? I want to lift the truck but do not want to do a 3". I was wondering if I would buy the PA pucks and just cut them in half for a 1"-2" lift. I have a 04 Mazda 5spd so would the shift extender still be necessary? Would the provided bumper brackets work for a smaller amount of lift? Any pictures of something already like this would be fantastic.

exactly done waste your time cutting the blocks and stuff.jsut buy the 2 inch kit instead of the 3.that way it will include waht you need,they will tell you if it need the shifter extension in the kit

I used to have a 3" that came with my truck but I cut it down to 1". I like the 1" a lot more and the bumpers dont need extended brackets either, or you could just custom make your own bumpers like I did.
