bleed bleed and still soft pedal!!!

hey guys so i replaced the rear brake lines in my ranger,,,also i changed the wheel cylinders as well but i forgot the adjuster in one side and drove home and relised i had almost no brakes, ovbiously,,,,,but ive bleed the mc and the bleeders and the pedal is hard with the key on but when the engine is on it goes to the floor????

You have a small leak somewhere. Probably a line fitting that isn't tight enough.

do a vacuum check of the engine for lack of vaccum, or you have a slight leak at a fitting, I've had the same problem that you and it took me ages to figure it out. Just make sure all the fittings and lines are straight going into the wheel cylinder then bend them a few inches away, my problem was they were on too sharp of an angle to get an airtight connection.

It may be small, but is probably still there. The booster adds thousands of pounds of force to what you can apply to the brake system. A tiny leak that doesn't show with the engine off will be very noticeable with the engine on.

Barring that, your rear brakes may not be adjusted right. Set the parking brake 10 times or so.
