It was not a nice B2 to begin with.Oil leaks everywhere, eletric Tcase didnt work, power window didn't work, BUT the power lumbar seat still work....:icon_rofl:

but there wasnt even any rust........, wheres all the rust..........

you cant cut without rust.....

i want to cry now, and i want to build a truck like that(just with rust)

I might be In AZ this spring.... Sure would be a shame not to see this thing....

Exemplary fabrication skills!

OK I was finally able to get back on my junk. Between my dad selling his house and semi retiring, my daughter's races, the shop being VERY busy, and my knee (sugery on the first) it's been just sitting there taking on dust. It was nice to work on it again. The cage is almost there, I'm lacking the X behind the front seats, and getting the front harnesses mounted. The closest tube to my head is 3"away with my helmet on. Should be OK. My tube supplier ran out of unpickled DOM so I had to use some that is pickled hence the 2 different colors. I prefer th non pickled as it doesn't jam as easy in the bender and doesn't splatter as much while welding it. Any way I hope to get this wheelable soon, and I can't wait to "test" it.

there's no such thing as rust in arizona. by this rule he wouldn't have been able to build anything.

In addition to the cross-bracing behind the front seats, I'd add some more to the rear. Something like this maybe:
