Black box under dash

Hi, new member here with an 89 Bronco II, XLT I have a question regarding a black box with lots of wires that dropped down while I was changing the hood release cable. What is this thing? I suspect part of an old security system..But check the pictures.

The type of wiring connections screams "aftermarket doohickey". Reading that label is your best source of info.

Probably aftermarket security system, remote start, keyless entry? My guess is on security because of that little red light on the dash.
