binghamton area??? anyone?

there is a place over in westcorners(near endicott) called killer hill that is pretty cool called killer hill. it can get nasty in winter though.

Killer Hill used to be ok 10 years ago before the housing developement took over up there. Try the Rt. 26 trail in Vestal. Pretty long trail, and not too difficult for stockers. Haven't been there in a few yrs, but we made a nasty trail down a rock creek that can get pretty gnarly when damp. Another favorite spot, Ladys Land on the southside of Binghamton. Lots of steep climbs and a good rock section thats tough to find if you dont know where youre going. Just stay away durning hunting season.[/QUOTE]

that sounds cool, where is the trail in vestal? i work pretty damn close to 26, any landmarks to look for an enterance? its not that place right by that little turn-around is it? cause i think that is gated now.

ya i was wondering the same thing

If you go up 26 from Vestal, as soon as you pass Meeker rd, the beginning of the trail is on your left side just at the end of a guard rail. Or you can go up Meeker rd and at the top of the hill on your right side theres an opening to some power lines, you can also enter there. Like I said, havent been there since the Ranger became non street legal a few yrs back.

I will be moving to Sterling in the middle of March. it is a few hours away from Binghamton. Looking for some places to do a little wheeling.

if you guys are interested , my family owns about 100 acres in North Norwich , about an hour and 20 minutes away from binghamton , i can talk to my grandparents about letting us set up some trails up there , there is alot of open fields and woods

look up W Cayuga Road , North Norwich NY

go to satallite

go from the R on Jones Road south and draw a line to german hollow road , everythin form there to the railroad tracks , except for the one big field by county road 23 is our property

well most of it is ours , there are some spots that arent , like where the houses are

Sterling is quite a ways away from Binghamton, it wouldn't be worth the multiple hr drive to come here or what little there is. Theres a club or 2 in the Syracuse, and the "Dacks" areas you could hook up with, thats a bit closer and have some good wheeling they know of.

i'm in rochester, ny and am part of team mudnuts 4x4 club (mudnuts.org)
i'd be interested in coming down there for a ride in my ranger.
we have a few places on private land that we're trying to get some trails on too. always looking for more though.
