Hi, ive been having troubles to start mi bII, y turn on the key and it does cranks, but sometimes i need to crank it bout 4 or 5 times for it to start, this guy told me it could be either a NSS switch or parking not fully engagin, anyone has had this trouble? can anyone tell me if its one of the options told to me? i apreciate your comments (you can tell im desperate and clueless) :icon_confused:

Try turning the key to the Run position (do not crank the starter) so the dash lights are on.

Listen for the fuel pump to run for 2 seconds,

Turn the key back to Off.

Repeat that 3 or 4 times, THEN crank the starter.

If that works, your fuel pressure is bleeding down. That could be a bad fuel pump, seeping fuel filter connection, leaking fuel pressure regulator, leaking fuel injector, etc.

As long as your oil doesn't smell like gasoline, if that method works, use it. You can fix it if you like, or let it go for a LONG time.

Run quickly from whoever gave you that advice. He's not even close.

Parking brake has NOTHING to do with turning over.

A Neutral safety switch would cause it to not do anything.

My B2 wont start unless my auto floor shifter is jiggled forward a little in park, anyone know if this is an easy fix and if so what it is???
