Biggest tire for 18" rims. 2nd gen ranger

I have a set of 18x8 cobra rims I wanna use on my ranger. What's the biggest (tallest) tire I can run? Would a 255/65/18 or something fit? I don't want a low profile. I want sidewall. Thanks guys

I think you will have a hard time getting anything but a low pro 18" on a 2wd truck.

You might tell us which of your trucks you are talking about and what the suspension setup is though.

My 84 I sold a while back, hence the "gone but never forgotten" so I only have my 90 and it is a 2wd

Well after some measuring a 255/55 255/60 series tire should fit with a little trimming so that's what I'm gonna try to go for

Which is impossible to see if you use the blue or black back grounds since you have them tagged for black text so the color of the words doesn't change to contrast the background.

I didn't see that at the time cause I was using the black background. It's VERY obvious now back on white.

So for the record. A 295/45/18 fits front and rear with good clearance
