bigger tires with the 2.9?

i was wanting to hear from people who have a lift and some bigger tires how well the 2.9 will hope up to them... and what kind of fuel mileage ur getting. im hopeing to get 31s but i dont want to gernade my engine or trans... thanks guys

When i had 31s and stock 373 gears it sucked. It was hard to pull out on a hill unloaded, and 5th gear sucked on the highway. Now i have 4.1 gears which help, and the 4.o clutch and flywheel make it easy to pull out again.

I just come upon a ranger that come with 32's it was really bad but I got lucky on found some 30's now I have no problems at all with hills and much cheper then regearing it.

yeah maybe ill get something a little bigger and save money and gas...
