I was referring to the very truck this thread is about which has one.

The only thing I liked about the "bigfoot" trucks was the power rear window. I am not sure why Ford ditched that idea. Toyota has made many Tundra fans on that little idea alone. Most all of the crew cab Tundra's have that power roll-down rear window. It's ****ing sweet on a nice day.

F-150's have it as a power slider slider.

Pointless IMO unless you have an extended cab truck... it is literally right behind my head in my std cab Ranger. I love it, with it and the drivers side window open the wind is much less violent as it comes in from the back and out the side. Makes a fool out of the wind tunnel effect you get with just the two side windows rolled down.

The graphics look tacky, but it was an 80's thing. They all did it back then, and I imagine they looked just as cool at the time as they look tacky now.

ok,wasn't sure because the post you were referring to was about the fit of a sport trac window in a ranger, not whether a power window had been put into a ranger.:icon_thumby:

only was available in 1986, 1987. only was in 4x4. came factory with power rear window, chrome roll bar, marchal lights, running boards, a 2.9L engine. supercab.

Do you mean those were available only for 2 yrs? Why did the replacement take place?

Not sure why the bigfoot Ranger only lasted 2 years. maybe it was because back in the 80's Ford rangers came with a lot of package options:
"S"
XL
XLT
XLT Lariat
XLT Bigfoot Cruiser
XLS
SST
STX
Explorer
GT
Custom
Diesel

I have one with original rollbar and original vinyl bed cover. Actually came with KC lights. Still have them too. Somebody ditched the running boards......GRRRR. Planning on restoring when funds become available.

for some stupid reason, many people took off the smaller marchall lamps and put on the larger KC's
