do you just wire the tweeters to the speakers or do you have to wire them to the hu?

from the amp to the cross over, then one line to tweeter and another to the woofer. I got the polk audio components at the crossover is something like 6"x5"x1"

I didn't use the cross evers that came with the components in this truck. I got a 3 way electronic cross over that seperates the subs, mids and highs. Then run the mids and highs thru a 4 channel amp giving me more control of the sound. Out of both ways I prefer this way better otherwise the tweeters are extremely loud.
