Im going to be putting a set of 32x11.5/15 on my ranger and was looking for some opinions on which would be my better choice. The bfg kms or the newer km2s.

I was wondering the same thing 6 months ago and got the KM2s and i,m glad that I did.I got 33 10.5 and I like them in the snow real well and lets face it they look cooler.

the KM2 is a better tire than the KM's IMO

Thanks. Ive been doing some searching and seem to be getting the same answer everywhere else. That the km2s are better. I have a set of kms size 235/75r/15 and they are s**t on ice and snow does anyone know if the km2 are any better.

I think so but not much. It's hard to get an open tread tire thats good in the ice because the rubber compound has to be pretty hard or they rip out and wear out to fast. What helped me make up my mind to was the Km2s were supposed to be tougher in the casing.

The KM2s phased out the KMs anyway, so unless you can find someone selling a set of new-old-stock KMs, KM2s will be the only ones you can buy.

I like the KM's I just got, they are not the same as most KM's though.

If you don't have to have the latest and greatest they are a good bargain right now, I paid $125/tire + freight for these. Even with freight that was about $50 cheaper than a P rated AT in a similar size (these are 255/75-17)
