About to put a 4" Skyjacker kit on my first gen, so I'm gonna need new tires ASAP so my truck doesn't look like it skips leg day! It seems like theres an endless amount of combinations of wheel and tire sizes and I've found a lot of good info here but I thought I'd try to clear some things up.

At the moment I'm trying to decide between 32" tires with no or 1" body lift, or 33" tires with a 2" or 3" body lift.

I don't know if I can afford new wheels and tires at the same time, so I was hoping to stick with my stock 15x7's and just getting new tires for now. Unless anyone can see any major benefit from upsizing to 16" wheels, in which case I should probably wait off on buying tires for my 15's. What do you guys think, is there any reason to choose 15" or 16" inch rims over the other or is it just a matter of looks?

As for width, it seems like the most common tire widths are 10.5", 11.5", and 12.5", and the most common wheel widths are 7", 8", and 10". I think 10" wide might be too wide for me as I don't want to rub. What are the best combinations of these? Should the rim width match the tire width as closely as possible? I was thinking of running 10.5" or 11.5" wide tires on my 15x7's, until I can invest in some 15x8's.

My last question is can I really get any combination of these tire diameters and widths or are there just a few common sizes that I should be focusing on instead?

Sorry for the wall of questions or if any of this has been answered elsewhere, I'm sure I could figure it out but this is my first time buying tires and it's kinda confusing. Thanks for reading!

I should also point out that that 80% of my driving is on the road. The rest is gravel roads, dirt trails and shallow mud. I also want to pick a tire width that will be great in the snow, and I know there is a debate there for narrow vs. wide tires.
