Ouch, I don't think greyhound does packages anymore, some small freight lines can ship pallets for more reasonable than UPS and the such if you find one that normally does a route that is helpful...

What's the route? When I was a part of the Festiva forum, it was not uncommon to see member shipping chains. Guy A meets up with Guy B, B takes the item to C who moves it out to guy D, etc. Maybe you could do that!

Fastenal does a good job but the process is punishment. You've got to work with the original shipping branch that you drop off at AND the receiving branch that it arrives at, just to arrange the shipment.
IF they still offer the service. Back when I used it they were extremely affordable though.
