Best way to remove dog hair from carpet?

duct tape and a lint roller do not work. just take the carpet out and take to the carwash. blast the hell out of it. great thing is you end up cleaning the smell and other crap out of the carpet too. it cheap does not cost but a few bucks and no dog smell.

Actually they work really well, the carwash pressure washer is great for smells, stains, and dirt though. With hair all it does is press it in deeper.

Yeah I don't feel like pulling out the entire carpet...... No thanks. I found my roll of duck tape, AND my roll of Gorilla tape, but I think that might pull out the entire carpet insulation and paint. :icon_surprised:

Gorilla Tape might be overkill but its up to you.

Sorry forgot to add one of these :icon_twisted: to my previous post

The three worst smells (to me) in a car interior are:
1)Decomposition/decay. I.E. a Dead body.
2)the smell of Dog
3)The smell of cigarettes

The third smell can be dealt with by washing everything and liberal application of Fabreeze

the second can be dealt with my replacing the seats and carpets
and liberal application of fabreeze to everything else.

The first, decomp (dead body) CAN be gotten rid of.
But it is difficult and requires extreme measures.
(Mythbusters got this wrong as they aren't chemists.)

What are you talking about??? Mythbusters are ALWAYS right......:icon_rofl:

Back to topic, I am trying to stay away from replacing the carpet, since the pre molds are a couple hundred bucks, and I don't think I'll do that great of a job with the roll. From the looks of it, all the hair is just in the back, i dont think they had the dog on the seats, which are the cheap leather anyways.
