Best mud terrain tires?

havent owned any of those tires accept the BFG muds km1. (im currently running) havent been able to run them offroad since ive only had them for a short time. but take into consideration that they are really noisey, you can feel them rumble at low speeds, and i hear they chunk our pretty bad.

but on the plus side i dont know anybody know didnt like them and i see a LOT of desert race trucks running them.

Oh, and for whoever suggested retreads, i wouldnt run them on a tractor much less a truck. 10,000 miles if your lucky.

24,000 on mine and counting.....

you know black b2, iv been looking at those retreads(the MTR tread), mabe when the bfg muds and my bfg all terrains go bald ill get a set(i have 6 sets of ranger tires, lol)(and both trucks run 31s)

If you want a Tire that good for more then just offroad and last a long time the BFG A/T's are great.

I got them on my F150, i bought them used and have put 25,000 on them and still have good tread, and they had like 15K on them when i got them.

They hook awesome and really look good. Ive had them in the mud and they dont do as good in deep gooey mud as the M/T's but there still respectable, but in slimy slick mud they hook great.

I really like my mickey thompson MTZs Ive found them to be good on everything from rocks and mud to snow and ice

Black BII, how do you like your re-treads? I'm lookin at a set of them in 31s. Do they hook good and what are they like on the road?

Yeah the Kumho MT KL71's are dope. If you want to spend a little extra coin, Firestone Destination MT's are also a good choice.

As far as the Treadwright retreads go, I haven't ran any myself, but they have gotten good reviews in a lot of offroad mags, such as Petersons, Jp and others.

I like my retreads, they are a good mud tire. They grab decent in the mud and are actually a lot quieter on the road than I expected. I would compare them directly with some of the cheaper mud terrain tires, The Mud Rover, Mud King, The BFG etc.

You can't beat them for the price.

dunlop mud rovers. you can get em in sizes up to 35''s

Yes they are discontinuing the BFG M/T KM. They are switching to the KM2 and phasing out the KMs.

for what its worth, i love my maxxis bighorn, great tire they clean well, quiet on road, i havent had any problems with them and they balance great my bfgs took a ton of weight to balance, also to they are the offical brand of BITD racing now
