Best Mod under $20

What does this do for you? Is it like cruise control?

No, it just shortens up your throttle cable so that you get your butterfly valve opened just a bit further to increase your max RPM's.

My best mod under $20 is paint and sandpaper. I scuffed up all my black stuff (mirrors, doorhandles, and wiper arms) and matched them to my paint.

Please tell me you can get another one that cheap . . .I'll pay you double!!!

As nice as it would be to get double I managed to be in the right place at the right time:D

Plus I am 99% sure it's for an S-10 Blazer, but that's what :icon_welder: is for.

last place trucking company i was working for, we would we would replace the older sealed beam headlight with a set of diamond cut beams, after talking with the parts counter guy i got a set of those, a set of 90/130 watt h4 bulbs for free, it just cost me $15 for the relay kit and the wiring

Cutting the plastic support off the seatbelts so they tuck into the seat and don't poke me or my passenger when... well.... when you're not sitting in the seat as intended. = free/priceless

i like doing the poking here...i dont like getting poked...haha.

You basically stole that thing

It didn't look that great when I got it, it had a lot of rust under the powdercoat... so I stripped it and gave it a heavy coat of bedliner... so all told it was probably closer to $40 by the time it got in the truck.

Throttle cable mod. Costs less than 50 cents worth of zip ties.

A cup holder. Best cheap mod I ever added to my truck.

lol i dont mean a fillup.. quarter tank in the 79

Hand throttle, made from a bicycle shifter, makes wheeling with a 5 speed SOOO much easier.

I've heard/seen a lot of people doing this, but I've never had a problem killing it too much out wheeling... pry cuz I'm either at 5k or have the clutch in and idling... there is no in between :icon_rofl:

Kinda like a cruise control for the trails or something?

Or do ya go all boat status?
