so my buddy is gonna buy my ranger, so i won't be doing the 4.0 + supercharger, so i have a new cheaper project.

i have another friend who has a wrecked RX7 that he's gonna sell me the driveline out of, and there's a bronco 2 without an engine in it down the road that has a clean body and he wants 500 for it.

so i'm gonna drop the rx7 driveline into the bronco and drop it.

it's a street truck, and this particular engine puts down 133tq at 3500, so, if i put an automatic behind it, no big deal.

So you'd be making a Bronco RX1. The RX stands for "Rotary Expeirimental."

Not the craziest engine swap I've heard of, but pretty darn close. :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl: Toss a bigger turbo an a set of 4.10 gears on it & might scoot pretty good.

Sounds like the makings of a LeMons racer to me.

Is there an automatic that works with them things?

yes sevens came with autos, you can mate a t-5 to it though, or a c-4 with an expensive housing

Is this idea better than the time that Urkel built that rocket-powered drag car out of an Isetta?
