Best Ford Factory Rims for 85 BII

I have 15x7 from a 94 ranger 4x4 with 235/75 and they fit nice except that when they got balanced the wheel weights rubbed the tie rod ends, I'll have to get them rebalanced using smaller weights or put in a wheel spacer. 31/10.5 on the same wheels rubbed on the front fender slightly.

Well, here is my finished product (big raised white letter tires later - for me big will be 215/75/15 - the gas mileage is great with these little 205/70/15s but I got to move up a bit later on...although, I still lean toward 235s...I'm getting @ 20 MPG right now without trying hard and 23 if I do no towing at all).

Anyway, thank you to all the Gentlemen on here who pointed me in the right direction with how to and what to use - it made this job doable!

How did I do? (yeah, I know I got to paint the hubs as well...think I like them black...when I go to order new ones (if I believe all that another fella told me) I can go with Warn manual lockers and save myself some wear and tear and gas mileage)...?

Damn I wish my bronco 2 looked that nice. How much did you pay for them? I found a set like those the other day on Craigslist but don't have the $400, but it was a matched set exactly like those including the rear center caps and the large opening in the front for the hubs.

I paid $60 for them (all 4) off craigslist (guy had them on a ranger - they were painted black - he decided to go with mustang rims) - he wanted $75 but I told him that I felt 60 was fair because the tires were junk and I'd have to pay to have them taken off, etc.

I almost bought another pair or 2 on there but waited too long - they were $100 for the set.

I just used the current caps/hubs I had on mine. If you want, I have 2 from this set that I could send you (they are painted black and aren't in great shape) - the caps that is.

I love my BII...but looks are a little deceiving - it runs like a champ once warmed up, but it leaks oil like it's a race for the ground (although with tightening up the oil pan and gasket covers it's gotten better); it needs muffler work; the brakes are re-built but I think the cables are about shot; the parking brake still gives me a fit; the shifter is sloppier than me eating; idle air control is disconnected because it revs the motor to the point that it'll blow; but other than that and god knows what else, I love it and it is solid for 28 years of age!

Thanks for the offer on the wheels, but I'm going to have to wait on any more expenses for a while had a bit of a mess come up with my patio roof and some structural damage to the end of the house thanks to whoever built this patio roof obviously didn't know anything about construction.

Anyhow my B2 looks like crap, yeah I have a really sloppy shifter as well, and I drive my B2 for 2 days and have to add a quart of oil. The rear main seal is toast, and I'm not sure where all else it leaks from, I know its not the valve covers as those have brand new gaskets after the head gaskets were replaced. My whole carb feedback stuff has been disconnected because none of it works. I'm looking into a set of 215/75-R15 tires here soon as the tires on the rig now are in extremely bad shape to the point where I only drive it to work and home I won't leave town with it at all. My B2 has some rust issues so the body on mine looks like crap. I've got a lot of work a head of me to get this thing fixed, and no money to do it with as always LOL.

$60 for a set of wheels isn't bad at all.

The caps would be free...no charge. No worries if you don't want them, I'll just put them in the pile of BII parts shelf I'm accumulating...

I've got a pallet of parts which I don't care to move as one is a 2.8L engine block, however I somehow managed to pick it up and carry all 300+ pounds of it myself for a short distance.
