Nice looking truck.

Would a stop sign be correct? If so....why? You would bend it if you hit anything, instead of sliding over it like a real skid plate would. Honestly I think if got bent just right it would do way more damage than good.

Nice truck. Love the black rims. I agree with Shran about the stop sign skidplate. It's not strong enough to be real protective and could cause more problems than solutions if you hit it on something. Otherwise, beautiful truck.

The plates okay for that truck. Might help keep the engine compartment clean. I don't think it needs to worry about rocks and stumps. But yeah, it's dead meat if it gets torn up on something.

Hey, take that stop sign to a bead roller. If you put beads every 2" or so inches the whole lenght leaving about 1.5" on either end you could get a little bit more strength out of it, and give it a little cooler look. Just dont roll all the way off the metal, or it will just fold up like creases.

Thanx guys, main reason for the sign is because I ripped off the plastic peice so I just needed something for a little bit of protection. I dont offroad much at all so I have nothing to worry about. Thanx again

Why dont u gust body lift it and put 35s on it with out the RCD
if you want pics i got them
But good lookin truck

Actually If I had a 4X4 ranger I think it would be cool to punch holes in all 8 corners of the sign and strap it up to the spare tire behind the rear axle and help avoid getting caught on that crossbar so your departures dont snag you.

bigboy273, enlighten my with your 35" pics cuz I was sorta thinkin the same and to a suspension lift later down the road. Wasnt sure if I could clear the 35's with just a bodylift and also curious to see how much gap there is between the tire and fenderwell....

i will tomorrow its two dark now but check out shane and matts trucks on ranger forums they have some pics some where

ohh, thats right, forgot they ran that setup. thanx alot man, preciate it

I wonder how much worse/better that would be than the factory skidplate in front on my 08 FX4. its steel but its at best .150 thick, it is folded to for strenght. I havent hit it anything with it yet besides a deer. it did "skid" over that tho.....lol
