Bed mat or Bed liner? Help!

Just dumped my plastic one at the gravel pit next to everyone elses bulk garbage (tires, beds, etc.) because I didn't want to dick around with craigslisting it for 10 bucks and didn't want to look at it in my yard either.

Get a liner and throw a mat on it too. The woman love a soft place to lay out

;missingteeth;

My 2 cents - I've got a liner in one truck and the mat in the other and I honestly hate the liner because it's so slick. I'll load stuff in the back by the tailgate, step on the breaks once and all the stuff is now by the cab. With the mat, things tend to stay in place a lot better.

^What he said.

Liners suck. A mat will do exactly what you need, based on your usage. It's also easy on your knees.

I got a free 93 a few years ago (high miles, bad fuel pump, dead battery, etc.) with a bed mat in it since new. I pressure washed the entire truck (had been sitting under pines) and I swear that bed was like brand new under that mat.

LINEX
Best option.
Drop ins damage bed
Mats, meh. Never been a fan.

Line -x bed liner ftw. Looks sexy, and stays that way.

Well damaging the bed is my biggest fear. I mean, I want this thing to last me, so having a liner ruin the bed is not in my best interest.

Removing bed liner is next to impossible, it's the route in going but be sure you want it. Once it's in that's it. A mat or liner you can remove and still do a spray in....

Bed mats on Ebay go for about $35-60 and a few offer free shipping. Amazon.com has them as well for around $40-$69. Check that out. Get a bed mat and save up for that spray in liner when you can get it.

DIY roll on bedliner.. what's the kit cost? like $100?

i can tell you tho.. after having LineX in our last truck... ALL of our trucks from now on will get it. as soon as my dad gets the money, he's having his f150 done (the chevy we traded in had it...).. its well worth the money.

The Duplicolor BedArmor kit (with Kevlar in it) is $80 at Advance Auto here. Add coupon 'VISA' and it drops to $50. Comes with a gallon of the bedliner plus the roller, tray, brush, etc.

You get what you pay for.
IMO bed liner is something you do right the first time.

But hey, that's just me.
