I don't think I've seen the 7.5 anymore but I could be very wrong. I'll take a little walk around the lot tomorrow at work. Hopefully in 3 weeks I'll be getting a 2010 for work so I'll be able to get a good look at the disc set up.

my supervisor has a 2009 ranger w/ the 4 cyl & it still has the 7.5 rear end ,but not rear disc set up

My only issue here with the drums vs disc, I take one of my older 64.5-70 mustangs or chevelles and change it from full drum, to full disc, the car stops magnificently better.
