I saw a couple bikes last night and one tonight. Usually there are a couple from Orange County Choppers and West Coast Choppers for sale.

girlfriend dosn't get it, she like um... are you watching a auction...why... you should just go watch grass grow its the samething. Shes the same way with car shows, so i drag her to all of'em.

Barett-Jackson: good for taking up 4-6 hours of Speed channel a day. I like these cars as much as anyone but just get disheartened to know I'll never be able to afford one and that they get sold to people who are just going to add them to a collection they don't truly appreciate.

I actually went to the show yesterday and they had some pretty sick cars. One of the coolest things I saw was this guy's bronco. 11" of lift on 37s. Sweet light blue paint job. Plus all the old skool mustangs... I was pissed that I forgot my camera tho. otherwise I would have posted up some pics. If you're in the area I highly recommend going- hot cars, the SPEED girls, lots of free stuff, chances to drag race mustangs and ride in one while they drift it. I was there for 7 hours and I still wish I had stayed longer.

wow lucky me and my dad were suspose to make a trip out there to go see some of the auctions, but its not happening now..

I traded my '65 Mustang for a new '66 Corvette convertible (both tops) 427, every possible option. Drove it for a couple of years - it was a great car. One of the kids had a severe medical problem, more than insurance would cover, so I sold it for $2,500 in totally mint condition. The buyer immediately put it up on blocks in his garage.
Saw one exactly like it a few nights ago on BJ auctions. The bidding got up to $1,550,000, but the owner wouldn't sell it for that. They figured an off-line deal would be made. *sigh*

I watched a little bit this week. The last time they had an auction I was laid up with the flu all week and watched almost nothing else. You're right, it's like porn for car guys.
