Baloney on my hood...

Maybe someone just thinks he's full of baloney.

If you complain to the police they'll probably just put out an APD on Oscar Meyer.

Did you ask any of the neighbors if they saw a suspicious hotdog driving around the neighborhood?

J/K, I couldn't resist. I tried, really I did!

:icon_rofl:

Yeaaam,

Funny thing though...I used to tease my nephew...told him he could open his own business...a hot dog stand downtown...and call it CNI-DOG (for those who don't know, Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) offers guide dogs to people who are totally blind...and they are referred to as See-N-Eye Dogs (CNI)...

That's partly why that image was unusually funny to me...

I dunno mark. It's not like you caught him in the act and while your gut feeling is that you know it's him that put the baloney there, it's quite possible it wasn't. Go with the legal route and file a complaint. Taking revenge at this point might lead you to get into unforseen trouble.

Before speculating that it might be him, why not set up a USB camera attached to your PC and record for a while in case it happens again.

If you get him on video, it's over for him.

Talk to the head officer adn tell him your nephew had a run in with the oficer and ask if the officer could have a talk with your nephew and apologies to smooth things over. If the officer had made a general mistake then there is no problem but if he is a hothead then your on record as doing the right thing. Going to the paper is king of overkill.

I say we call C@#$ PUNCHER he will solve your problems with the law. Simple punch in the baby maker and he'll think twice b4 messin with you!

I would have to agree, unless you saw the officer physically placing said lunchmeat on your hood, it could have been anyone pulling a practical joke, and it strikes you differently simply because of previous events for you.

Thanks for the input guys...

I'm pretty sure it was him...like I said, we've been at this address for almost two years without any practical jokes of this nature so I'd rule out that for now...

Unfortunately, even though I'd thought of putting up video surveilance to try to find out what kids are dumping their cans and drink containers on the lawn (the house is on the corner of a fairly busy intersection so there is plenty of foot traffic)...it's not an option right now...I don't have a USB camera that is capable of video capture and that was one thing I tested already with the camera that we do have...

It would be nice to have caught him in the act though...and I've taken to turning off all the lights in the garage and sitting in the dark hoping he'll come by...the garage and one other room face the street...the rest of the house is facing the back where there is a clear view of everything...but it's fenced in and hard to access without tripping the security lighting....

The garage has solid doors and there are no windows that I can spy from...so it's a bit difficult until I can come up with some other plan like roof mounted cameras...

I might keep the camera handy and try to take a shot of him if he decides to push it (and my suspicion was that it would be within a few days if he is a hothead...a bit longer if he is cunning)...when I file the complaint (I have up to one year) I will prepare prior to that for video capture...

Otherwise, yes, I will play the waiting game and do everything above board...but I can't guarantee that I won't resort to some other tactics if the need arises...

I hate people who think they are above the law and use cowardly acts like that...so I'd be really happy to get a shot at him...but would settle for the police to drop the charges and have him put on another beat...

there are ways to handle a cop like that ....... first you need a couple hookers, a digital camera, a sheep and some photoshop skills..........

now thats just good. i gotta talk to my law teacher about that one. he might just find it interesting.

Wow I just read this thread for the first time, stuff like this definately needs to get adressed!!!!!!!!!

Yes...still working on the details...have to get a 'variance' on my nephews' restrictions first...they pretty much cut him out of his daily routine so he's home quite a bit now...and that is very disturbing to me...and upsetting to him...so first things first...

I've still got the baloney in the fridge...want to find out if someone can lift prints from it...

My sister was talking to the PC's supervisor and she was told that the city of Barrie wants to 'clean up' the downtown area and remove anyone that isn't pretty or special...that's a human interest story right there...
