Hey guys it is time to replace the ball joints among other suspension parts!

Now why the auto parts store sells each joint at around $30.00 a piece ( 30x4+tax = roughly 140 and change )

Now rockauto.com sells them for as little as $9 a pop... which is much more in my price range.

Question is there are a lot of options if any one could lend a hand and point me at the one i need it would be awesome of you!

89 b2 4wd believe its the dana 28 ( its still stock ) need top and bottom both sides.

Thanks in advance!

I just got upper and lowers for my dana 35 at my local advance auto parts, they were midgrade greasable and cost just under $20 each.

when i had my 89 ranger I did the upper and lower on both side. bought the moogs from rockauto (look to see if you can find the discount code). Make sure you get the greasable ones. Also get the ball joint tool kit from harbor freight (again see if you can find the 15% off coupon they email out). The whole process was pretty straight forward.

And people wonder why the jobs are all going to China...

Look a where the balljoints are made.

Frankly I'd rather buy something where the money goes
somewhere OTHER THAN asia.

Paid $40 a piece for the upperline of Moog's for my D44, already worth it though....Lifetime warranty replaced a set after the sleeve wasn't adjusted properly and it wore them out.

are you seriously gonna go there man?

i buy everything needed on the daily basis here from the good old USA, and get my ass raped for buying it at our prices.
Maybe if the USA stopped to think, " why do these consumers order overseas?" they would catch a clue, and maybe just maybe make some items that we as a average american need to buy once in a while in a ballparks range that the not so rich man can afford.

My 2c

FYI, even Moogs aren't made in the USA last I heard. The parts looked exactly like the made in China ones from everyone else.
