I spoke with my buddy (the one the dude is staying with) about it after work today and he completely agree's, although asked me to please not report it (he would also get into trouble with his NCO's). I let him know as long as I end up not paying anything for this replace/repair I would be happy with him giving me the $20 for gas money that it cost me to take the TV 60 miles away. He gave me $20. I told him as far as I'm concerned this is over as long as no more money is involved, but if it is... he can expect to be paying it, or I will have him kicked out, and he will still pay me for it.

damn, ive got an LG lcd tv, i thought for a second there that i bought some junk! sucks about your tv, but im glad its not just a defect from the manufacturer

I purchased a new tube TV that can play HD from Walmart last year, it was an online order that was returned, works greta, cost me $125, its a little 14"
