buy new caps. I don't ever even consider painting anything on my wheels, it won't stay put unless you powder coat it or something similar. How did you do it, with rattlecans?

Ya. I roughed the surface with 280 grit sand paper, then primed it, then painted with high temp paint. Looks like sh!t. O well too late now

Screw it, go get some new better looking wheels if you don't like those. Your pickup looks pretty new, I wouldn't dick with it. If you are looking for black wheels, which apparently you are, you can find those pretty cheap. Chrome and polished aluminum wheels are the expensive ones...

I was thinking that too. Summitt had black steelies last time I looked. I wouldn't mind some 32x11.5.. hmm.....

Here they are: http://store.summitracing.com/large...2&Prod=Cragar+Soft+8+Wheels&img=crr-397_w.jpg

What do you guys think of those?? Think they would look good on my truck??

Those are nice wheels (note I say wheels, not rims. Rims are for ricers!! :woot:)

I think they would look great on your pickup. That is the good thing about black rims; they look good on almost anything. Go for it bro. :headbang:

Also, do you think you can fit 32 inch tires on your pickup? Last I heard 31's are the largest comfortable fit. 32's... I dunno.

I'm pretty sure that I can fit a 285 75 16 with a mild t-bar crank. The level2's come with 31's stock, so I know I can fit those for sure.

No unfortunately it is not a level 2. I couldn't afford the extra dough. I have a fully loaded sport, and I love it. But wish I had a level 2. If I had known that 2007 was the last year for the level 2, I would have got one for sure.

Awww Shucks...
