bad hesitation

Alright today I got it running better but found out the cam is wore pretty bad so now I need a new one. I want a recreational and towing cam. I have a 69 mustang 302 with stock heads edelbrock performer intake and edelbrock 600 cfm carb.

I would inspect the rest of the motor before buying and swapping in a new cam. If the cam's worn that bad, chances are the bearings and rings are as well.
