Bad coil?

93' 2.3l big power loss. Got a scan tool. First time use. If i did it right got 223 and 224. Tested primary rasistance on coil pacs ok. Could not get secoundary. On eather coil pac. Drivers side front spark plug termanal wont wont fire. Is it bad or is there a easy trick?

If you have no fire from the coil then I would replace which ever coil is miss firing.

Thanks. Swaped out front coil pack. Runs better. No check engine light since. Power still isnt 100%. Still down 3mpg. Im getting a little bit of a miss at high rpm. Is that ignition, fuel delivery, cat cloging? Wares the best place to start? Cleaned maf, new air filter, and new fuel filter last year.

Try plugs and wires, oil change... etc...

plugs and wires lasr year. new plugs on passenger side just before i changed the coil pack. double checked gap on plugs befor install. oil change 2 weeks ago.
