Ah. Is this the bearing I do -not- have because apparently the only thing changed from stock on my '97 was they put in a one-piece driveshaft?
I wonder why it would fail on yours being so new. Maybe mine failed at one point and they put in the one-piece. I guess technically you coud replace with one piece but I understand your frustration.
Yeah and the cab leak. Bronco will be nice. I wish they'd put a V6 in the new Rangers like the Raptor engine without buying a Raptor. I'm sure the 4's are plenty powerful, but I like the sound of a 6.
You should be able to get a decent price on the '21.

Right, single piece shafts don't need a support/center bearing. I'm not the only person with a 19+ that had had the bearing die an early death.. but its not a super common problem either.. can probably be chalked up to a bad batch of bearings? Not sure.

I believe the 24+ rangers will have v6 options without needing a raptor.. Ford is going to be officially unveiling the next gen trucks this month at some point.. if we get lucky they might divulge more info about powertrains and such.

But yes definitely.. I already owe less on the truck than it's worth, and by the time I have all my ducks in a row and I'm ready to officially go shopping I'll owe even less so.. should be in pretty good shape.

It's a bit of a drag for sure!

I wouldn't be worried about your truck though.. all the problems the 19+ trucks experience seem relatively few and far between. Shit happens.. but I do still believe ford knows what they're doing and can make a quality vehicle.. I just got unlucky.

Hoping my luck is better with my next new ford.. or else yeah.. old junk it will be from then-on lol.

No money and the government has been dragging their feet about paying my last trip’s travel expenses. The the credit card they force use to get is in our name and on our credit score. So I have to pay that out of pocket. Apparently, this is a thing happening in the Army too. Jump when the tell you and get stiffed for your trouble. Not that I’m upset or any thing...
