- My credo
- Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
This is my 1st ever turbo'd vehicle. 1st ever non 2wd vehicle. The small displacement with turbo is a concern for me, also. This Bronco Sport is a Ford Certified pre-owned with factory warranty still attached and I usually always opt for the extended warranties for drivetrain and electronics, since it's basically the "family car". Hopefully I'll get my money's worth. Unfortunately, our Ford dealership is kinda known for having a poor quality service center reputation.
Certified pre-ownedz come with a powertrain warrantee out to 100k don't they? I knew someone who bought one during covid.. 65k miles at time of purchase so.. out of "regular factory" warrantee but yeah.. Ford warranteed it to 100k.
The more I think about it the more it pisses me off lol. If Lord henry is willing to guarantee a second hand car until 100k then why TF don't NEW Ford's come with a 100k guarantee?
That was somewhat rhetorical. Most of the answer is corporate greed.
On a more fun note though... Saw a video of a bronco sport successfully climbing up hells gate in moab earlier today... Thought that was pretty bitchin lol.. lemme find it..
