A little update, I am going to the USA 500 on the 14th of July with the guy that I am building mine with, and another team out of Wyoming ( I think ) so I am going to be pitting preping, going through tech, and co-driving for one lap ( about 100 mi. ) So pretty soon after that we will be starting in on my truck. So stay tuned. Also I will probably start a new build thread...

yea, they are the same seats that Dave has in his race truck. I got mine in vinyl though so that they are easier to clean. With my next paycheck I am buying harnesses. And then I need to get some metal for gussets and stuff like that. Then I need to get a fuel cell and an explorer 8.8

Looks good man! kinda building it backwards, but its good to have the fuel cell and seats so you can setup the cage around those items. are you going to mount the cell behind the cab or down a bit further?
also, i was gonna say you might consider going for a 9" instead of an 8.8, but its whatever you can get the best deal on.

Not building it backwards, building it all at once. I have a deadline. And as far as the 8.8 goes I am using it because it dosn't need to be narrowed and I can only be 2in over stock width to fit in my class. Besides, I dont think my massive power output from the 3.0 and 33's and a spool can break this
