b4000 trans

any ideas what year models trans will fit in a b4000 v-6? mine has developed a knock.

Any m50d that comes off a 4 liter. That is if you have a manual... Automatic I wouldn't know. You can get a rebuild kit in ebay for about $200.

It is an automatic trans . Doesn't slip, some what rough shifts but not bad . When i idle with it in gear, there is a knock that you can hear, In park you cannot hear it so I am wondering if it is in the tranny or in the motor and only shows up under load.
