To test remove it and measure across the two terminals with an ohm meter, should read be 900-1200ohms if not replace.
This has been done and is within spec. The truck is still not running but I have found no spark from the coil when the wire is held to ground. The coil wire is good (tested). I have 12v from the black/yellow wire to the coil. The other wire in the same connector as the B/Y wire has power on cranking. Main relay is good as are all fuses. Power to tach wire on cranking. I guess the only thing that could be bad is the coil. Oh yea, when measuring primary and secondary resistance on the coil, there is no reading on either. I still have no fuel flow, but on researching that I found that the ECU sends the power signal to the fuel pump upon receiving a signal from the coil..??
