B2 wipers stuck on

I replaced my battery today and when I turned on the power to check the connections my wipers were on. Now they will not turn off no matter what position the blinker arm is in.

any thoughts on how to turn them off?

Try the wiper control instead of the blinker arm?

you could pull the fuse if the arm wont turn them off

wiper arm.. blinker arm... tried them all at this point. thanks for the suggestion.

i finally pulled the fuse.

you might stick it back in and see if they will turn off. I lost my turn signals and couldn't figure out why so i pulled the fuse and put it back in and they worked.

Do you have the delay type wiper? If so, the controller has gone bad and needs replaced. Any mid size ford, mid decade, used the same type controller and it's at the column and dash junction. Small black box.
