b2 stubles

both all stock... kia 4:77's and open, bronco 3:73 with trac-loc. bronc 5 spd, kia auto...both have same size tires ... the stumble only happens every now and then...and only while at speed.don't know what happened to sound....going to make another one soon.but this was stock for stock...i know with the bronc built up more they are very good....but imagine how good the kia will be with mods

I bet the 4:77's had something to do with it...
plus the 2.9 likes to rev up.. the torque comes at a high RPM.

not that I care tho... I have a nicely built b2 lol.

Intermittent faults like that usually are wiring related. Pull all your connectors apart and clean with electrical cleaner then give them a shot of dielectric grease when you put them together. Pull all the grounds you can find apart and sand metal to metal including the coil mount. Thoroughly inspect all the wires for cracks breaks or bare wires especially around the exhaust manifolds and up over the back of the engine, repair as necessary using shrink tubing after you solder. With your tune up be sure and change plug wires, PCV and breather filter and include them in your regular maint schedule. I change the PCV with spark plugs and plug wires every third tuneup. Inspect and change any vacuum hoses that are hard or cracked.

te led's on front had a bad spot and would ground out...problem fixed. its going to be getting alot done to it real soon.

what??? the led's? like lights? how's that grounding out cause the truck to stumble?

yes lights...i found a short...wire against metal ...i repaired it and no more stumbling....???.... ok but whatever...lol....

today i rearranged the rocks ...made it harder to give kia fits...it did...got stuck bronc pulled it out then went right over the same spot with little trouble...lol...

1= kia
1= bronco II

You want the ignition to be on a dedicated circuit it sounds like the lights are pulling of the ignition circuit and can be problematic in the future. You want to find the accessory circuit and run the lights from that circuit or use a relay and run the lights off of the battery you can use the ignition circuit to switch the relay, a relay coil uses very little power. Cheap and easy to wire low power will ruin the ignition module and give you a weak spark. Just a suggestion.

I put blue leds in my dash cluster and worked great until they fried the pot for the dimmer switch.
