idk exactly what drive shaft and i need a new one cause mine just busted today i have a 84 b2 4x4 with manual 4 speed tranny would u guys know which one i have cause it broke right at the ujoint i beleive but im not sure.

yes i beleive it does and then it had a single one at the axle

Post measurements. Someone might have one laying around.

that would make it a double cardan shaft which is the better of the bronco CV type.

country idk how to measure it do i just go from end to end what cause right now im still figuring out how to take it off cause there is so much oil and grease on it. i guess my mom got ahold of a guy that can fix it if not it will cost 400 for a new one from him or 300 for one online.

Get a stick and mark it at the tcase and rear axle. Then measure it. Post pics if you can

Hey, you locked up a U-joint.

Make sure you get it re-tubed or you will keep breaking yokes and joints.

so does that mean i should just buy a new one cause i really need to get get this fixed so i can get back out to finding a job oh and i cant get the part off the differential i have the right socket it just wont budge even with a cheater bar

The drive shaft bolts are thread-locked in and probably corroded. When I put a clutch in mine last year removal of the drive shaft required a butane torch, 2 wrenches, a leg, and a good bit of pain and screaming.

I'd heat the area around the bolt, hook on with a wrench and the cheater wrench and push with my leg while my wife held the brakes.

And yes, there is a 100% chance of a bend in the tube, even just a little bit of one can cause massive problems with repeated breakage.

finally got it off the differential but bow im waiting on a socket to get it off the trans since it is a different size bolt i would think they would be the same size
