Hi, I'm a GLORIFIED greaser from B.C. Canada. I have spent hours... More like days on this sight learning about my truck, and it's potential. I have searched many other offroad forums, but none other can compare to your tech section. Alas, I have finally made things right by joining! I would like to thank all of you who have made this forum possible, thus making fixing my 4x4 a lot easier

Also, days isn't enough time to learn the possibilities on this site. I've focused on one area (88 4.0 4x4 Manual Ext. Cab) and I've been here over a year and am still just a noob.

TRS requires a lifetime of commitment to fully understand these trucks.

Yeah, ive mostly just focused on my truck, and where to go with my build. the articles on this sight are very helpful. Nice truck btw. I used to have one of that vintage with the 2.3 mustang engine and 31s. was tougher then nails, and would go anywhere... within reason...

Does greaser refer to a mechanic that does lube jobs or pertain to the bike gang genre?

Im a mechanic. I work on logging trucks. Most of my experience can already be found in this forum, although there's a lot of things left to do to my truck!... And I'm sure I'll get more pics on here eventually...

373s are too tall if I ever get the money together I want to go with 488s and lockers front and rear

Thanks! The "little" Mazda is pretty cool! Most people I wheel with have full-size trucks... They used to snicker... Lol! It's amazing what a good posi will do
