i have a 2002 ranger and a 99 ranger my 02 has 3.08 gears and my old 99 has 4.10 gears i want to swap the 4.10 gears into my 02 ranger they are both xlt 4x4 ext cab rangers. i just wanna take the chnk out of the front and the whole axle out of the rear is it worth it. i' about to put 33 12.50's on it and was told the 4.10 would put less strain on the truck and how would it affect my gas mpg?
