- What's the worst that could happen?
If I am not allowed to do this, please just delete the post...thanks.
The vendor is CarParts - I've never used them before, but have seen them mentioned a couple of times. I know that many of you are aware of them. I was pleasantly surprised - more shocked - by the items they offered that fit my 94. Body parts at first and then after exploring even more impressed.
I'm not getting anything for this post. At any rate, I ordered a tailgate and some hardware to go with it. Mine was rusted in the usual spots and pull-a-parts aren't much better. Price was very reasonable and I paid an extra 3 or 4 bucks for insurance just because.
Everything came in when they said it would. The tailgate arrived last and the corners of the box were crunched in. sure enough the top corners of the tailgate were bent in a little. Nothing major and easily repairable. Nevertheless, I filed a claim last night, sent a couple of pics at around 8PM. This morning I received a notice that my claim was approved! Pre-paid Visa Card or direct deposit into my bank.
Today is July 4th. WTF. I can't say enough.
Of course I will use the refund to purchase more stuff from Car Parts and will be sure to burchase the insurance as well.
