avs cover lights

I know how to fix them. Take them off 'cause they're ugly as sin anyway.:derisive:

All joking aside, the only way I know of is the exct way I clean up my platic headlight lenses. Use a real tough and abrasive rubbing compound first, then slowly work through a couple of other compounds till you get down to a real mellow abrasive like normal wax. Work each compound in stages trying to remove scratches slowly, don't get in a hurry with the really abrasive stuff or you will scratch it even worse. As with all waxing and buffing, work in circles. If you go back and forth you will leave long DEEP scratches that go all the way across the surface.

If all this sounds a little scary to you, they sell some stuff at most auto parts stores that is for clear headlights that will work just fine on your covers. *Remember that, no matter what you use, these covers are really soft plastic, and if you fart wrong they will scratch real easy. I warned you.*

No how some fun with it. I learn a lot just tinkering on stuff like this.

We use "Pledge" on our Snowmachine, Airplane, Motorcycle windshields all the time. We use it on the soft plastic windows on our Jetboat/Argo soft tops too. Takes out the fog and scratches real good and acts like Rain-X and since it can be readily stolen from a mom, wife or gf its cheap too.
