AUX light wiring

I'm trying to hook up lights on my truck box to my brake lights. What would be the easiest way of doing this? I was thinking about tapping into my wiring harness in the back but i'm not sure if this would work

Yes, splice into your trailer harness... its what I did... Mine are just spliced into the tail light/running light wire...

But yeah, for your deal, just spice into whatever wire you want...
