automatic to manual trans???

my trans came from an 89 stx and i had to modify the brake pedal to fit in the bracket with the clutch as it would not fit the first gen firewall as a direct bolt in. if i had switched to the second gen interior it would have fit. you will also need a master cylinder from a first or early second gen truck. i know the one for an 89 is different than the one for a 92.

ok, then it might be easier to use a donor vehicle of closer year... unless i use the tranny from a 4.0, post-1990, and the pedal assembly from a pre-1990. which shifter should i use??
