Automatic problems

ive been having several problems lately mostly that whenever i shift into park or reverse my truck feels as if its lifting up. other problems whenever i shift from into park or reverse it will sometimes be very hard to move my column shifter into that gear. my last problem is every now and then my transmisson will skip into a gear if anybody has any suggestions on how to fix these problems i would appreciate it

As for the hard shifting from park to reverse or what have you i would suspect the shifter cable is getting stiff.

Dont know what you mean by skip into gear??...Does it like jump out of park to reverse or what??

i greased up the shifting cable and its a little better but still does it from time to time ; when im driving it will kind of jerk into gear like it was over reved and it had i go back down to the right rpms to shift up if that makes any sense
