yea, the tech library writeup really didn't help me out a lot either....

I just picked up a trashed out 94' explorer sport with a 4.0 and a M5OD R-1 5 speed and got her home to my parents house where the shop and all the tools are....which conveniently is also 300 miles from where I currently live. I'm gonna be moving back there in September and hope to get this swap underway then. RIght now I'm just tryin to do as much homework as I can so that this will go as smooth as possible.

When I get it done and drivable though, I plan on doing a writeup of how it worked out for me....the difficulties, trials and errors and all that good shit. I'm gonna try and work with some other guys who I know have done a very similar swap MJones and a couple of the other guys to create for the tech library a nice writeup that shows step by step with photos and plenty of instructions on how you do this.....the one in there now sucks.
