I got off with no raise after a deer hit, because they ruled it comprehensive (it turns out the deer was unlicensed and uninsured....).

All our deer are licensed up here. It's a bugger of thing to try to hang a license plate on them

High school living. Been there, gone through the same things. Its good thing that your school even cares enough to try to help. My old high school would do nothing and just claim any damages as "at owners risk". I hope you catch the perp that slashed your tire.

Nooo... their ride didn't slash my tire, they did. But I do have this need to put dead fish in their A/C....

Many years ago a buddy of mine stuffed a dead partridge under the back seat of my BII. It was late November in Thunder Bay so it froze up pretty solid. Then when the spring finally rolled around and the bird thawed the smell was like a punch in the face. Horrible rotten stench! I guess I got what was coming to me because I put some dead fish behind the seat of his F150 in 35* heat.

The hardest part of licensing our deer up here are screwing the license plates on the rear and front of them. With the bucks you can zip tie the plate on the antlers. Just have to get a new front plate every year though.

Whoa.....all this over one slashed tire? IF you can find this idiot, you wont be able to sue in anything more than a small-claims court, which means, you'll be paying court fees and in small-claims courts, the person being sued cannot be forced to pay. A judgement will be issued and thats that.

Besides, one tire is a hundred bucks more or less. Your insurance covered it, anyhow. Everything els than happened to your truck after the tire was slashed wasn't directly related to the idiot who slashed your tire, so you wont get a dime from them anyhow.

Its high school, high school is full of immature jerks. I've been there, not that long ago, and been on the receiving end of crap I couldn't do anything about.

Remember karma......whoever did it will have it coming back to them later down the road.

Small claims can force the defendant to pay if the plaintiff wins the case. Its still a legally binding courtroom. I don't know how the courtrooms where your from work, but they should work like that.

When you get new tires ALWAYS take road hazard Waranty!! I bought mine at BJ's Wholesale and my sons tires as well and spent the extra on the R.H. . Anything flattens those tires, they will fix it, if it can not be repaired, then they will replace it with a pro-rating on the tire. (% of tread )
