Apps are creepy

I've always referred to the less friendly toilet paper as "buck rub".

I about cried laughing when the wife exited the bathroom complaining that the toilet she bought on sale was rough as buck rub.

Isn't technology great. Got to have the latest and greatest iPhone/Android or whatever.

Just give me a cabin in the woods... and a garage full of trucks to tinker with.

Toilet paper like John Wayne.

Rough, Tough, and Don’t take shit from anyone.

In Russia, Phone leaves you in the car.

back to apps ....

When you agree to placing 1 on/into your phone, have you ever read the fine print to what you have/are agreeing to??

You would be shocked to know that you have allowed the companies access to your microphone, and camera on your phone and they can use them any time they want to check you out....

don't believe me? read what you have agreed to ...

YES they are SPYING on your ass .....

Isn't this why people do things like use Blackberry's and Linux?

Google is creepy.

My phone does weird stuff too. And it is still stupid and way off. Perhaps my eccentric lifestyle and very imaginative searches confuse them.....
Anyhoo here's a good example. I recently got a pup, a husky/ german shepherd mix. I did plenty of breed search info on my phone. A few days later my buddy shows up with his new pup, a yellow lab. We let em play and talked dogs. Now I get a ton of articles in my news feed about labrador retriever pups (buddys dog). Nothing about Huskies, or German shepherds (my pup). The A.I. running the show is an idiot.
Speaking of, an article did pop that a google employee got canned for talking about how their AI became self aware.

I re searched that one but there's a ton of results.

I wouldn't mind the spying if the damn thing could at least be helpful or at least entertaining once in awhile. I still have to manually search anything useful or insightful.

Here's some creepy app stuff for ya: I was on "this" computer ( my work desktop) when I visited Partzilla.com yesterday to look for some ATV parts. This morning on my phone's Google Feed, were ads ( plural ) form, guess who? Partzilla.com!!!!!!!!! WTF Google? I used a separate computer for a reason.
