I goofed there, i meant to say it was a rod and not a cable.

Success .... Thanks for all the input.

Redid the carb lines and the throttle cable, and added the Sonnax adapter. Also looked at different vids on utube. Dumped a small bottle of gunk remover/tarnish free up stuff for good measure. Took it out on the street last night to see what happens. shifted great this time,

thanks all.... now just need to reset lash and fine tune the timing/carb responses and good to go.
