Anyone watch ax men on history?

I stopped watching American Pickers... so repetitive... hey look, some old sh*t! Hey look, more old sh*t! I mean some stuff was cool, like the old cars they found, and some signs, but otherwise... meh.

I prefer Ice Road Truckers... not the Deadliest roads sh*t either. And gold rush was okay, and I like Ax Men too.

I watch it too. I've met Shelby. Just as crazy in person as he is on the show. I thought the same thing about that Bronco.

Thats pretty cool, his part of the show is my favorite, although he does seem to be a bit more reckless this season.

Thats the bad part. When they're supposed to be filming, lets say, Lisa and a W900L Kenworth, they'll be showing random driving clips of someone in a T800, wtf! Only thing that bothers me about that show, otherwise I think it's cool.

That and the over exaggeration on "risks" of trucking ..... and the "jet fuel" on deadliest roads that was water ....

But its all fun to watch and all the "reality" shows are like that now, I know most of it is staged, but oddly enough I watch some of em

Even if it was, it is basically the same stuff as diesel... hardly nitroglycerin.

Pawn Stars is neat, Pickers can be neat... my favorite show is Deadliest Catch. Maybe it is because I don't know much about a boat but there seems to be too much going on for much of it to be staged at least when they are under way.

Personally I think theres too many of these types of shows now. Theres spinoffs, then spinoffs of spinoffs, then other networks make a similar show. Before you know it there will be a reality show for every type of job there is.

Ive been on a few boats that your dam near hot bunking and if you have broad shoulders forget about rolling over on the bottom bunk plus the scent of four slobs jammed into one tiny birth makes you homicidal.

Aside from touring a destroyer at Norfolk I don't think I have really been on a boat/ship that even had a bunk.

Tour boats, pontoons and canoes pretty much wraps it up for me, probably why the show is so interesting.

Sons of Guns is a bunch of staged drama, and the stuff they build is nothing spectacular. Same with American Guns. Both of those shows should have been cancelled mid first season. Cajun Pawn Stars is interesting so far, I still watch the original. Axe Men is OK. Top Shot= LAME. Just my .02 cents.

If they don't pull 100 loads a week they're screwed. Its good for 10 minutes, then repetitive as hell.
